Paid to click scams ! Are all PTC sites scams??

The PTC concept is not a scam, but some PTC scammers misusing the paid to click sites. No reputable advertiser would join a program that offers incentives for its users to click ads that makes no
paid to click sites are notorious for being scams. This is a shame, as there are several
reputable paid to click sites online. There are several ways that you can spot a pay to click scams and you can educate yourself before you waste your time signing up with scam PTC sites.

Remember that there are 1000s of paid to click scams out there. These are scammers who pretend to be legitimate PTC sites. Everything will be same, they get money from advertisers, members have to click on those ads, but when it comes to paying you, they just disappear. So, you have to make sure you do some research on your own before joining any paid to click site whether it is legit or not.  One good way to find trusted and paying PTC sites is to use PTC related forums to find out whether is the PTC site is a scam or not.

Sites that have already gone scam in the past will be easy to identify.  There are several sites that are dedicated solely to outing these sites. A quick online search will point you in the right direction. While these sites serve as a good general guide, be aware that not every PTC site they list is a PTC scam. People are very quick to jump to the conclusion that a new paid to click site is a scam if the site doesn't pay them the second they request a pay out. Not all scam sites start out as such.

There are several PTC sites that are a scam from day one. These sites offers cheap advertising to buy and easy to set up. They tend to target residents outside of the United States. Those that live in poor countries are more than willing to spend time on these sites to make a dollar or two per day.  When a site is finally outed as a scam, the site comes down, and the owner disappears, beware of those type of paid to click scams.  There is little, if any punishment for this type of crime. Because of this, it is best to pick and choose the sites you will use very carefully.  It's not that you stand to lose a great deal of money, as it takes quite a while to build up any real earnings, but you do stand to waste your time.

Taking your own time to research on a PTC site before you sign up. Look for well established paid to click sites that have been around a while, have lots of members, and having a forum. If you stick with these sites, you can avoid falling prey to the unscrupulous pay to click scams that are currently online.
